Microelectronic Inspection Operator - 1st shift

Primary Function:

Performs visual inspection of microelectronic components in a manufacturing environment.   Inspection is of individual units and complicated assembly parts using a microscope (5X - 60 X, 100X) or a computer monitor.  Packages units per customer requirements.  Documents production on paper, enters data into a computer, and moves jobs in the production system.  Position is on 1st shift (Mon - Fri, 7 AM - 3 PM). Starting wage is $15.12/hour - $15.73/hour depending on qualifications.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Visually inspect individual units and complicated assembly parts using a microscope and/or a computer monitor. 
  • Load units into appropriate trays or containers.
  • Packages units per customer requirements.
  • Complete documentation, enter data in system 

SKILLS:

  • Good hand/eye dexterity
  • Ability to work with extremely small units and tools
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to use a microscope (5X to 1000X)
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to use a computer
  • Attention to Detail

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Good vision
  • Ability to sit for most of the shift
  • Ability to work in a Clean Room environment
  • Ability to lift weight or exert force up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work with chemicals and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Good attendance
  • Due to export controls, U.S. person is required - U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident.
