Primary Function:

Running the barker dicing. Fill out the required documentation throughout the process. Carry out quality controls and verifications.

The position is:

*Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11pm,  Pay rate $18.60 + $1 premium for the shift.

The training period, lasting approximately six weeks, will take place during the first shift.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Operating the baker dicing

·       Unload blocks and blow out/clean blocks

·       Quality check and Documentation

·       Non-conforming or rejected blocks must be documented at the end of every lot or shift

·       Fill out the Scrap tracker (Form-0969)

·       Fill out the Router Form

·       Dice blocks effectively and efficiently

·       Block Alignment, find witness marks to ensure quality

·       Use the microscope equipped with a toolmaker gauge

·       Perform adjustments on machine

SKILLS:

  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work with small parts.
  • Able to perform data entry and use Microsoft Office Excel and Word application. 
  • Working knowledge of basic arithmetic, negative numbers, decimals and fractions.
  • Work closely with team members, including equipment support, technician and/or others, to ensure efficient production and meet quality standards
  • Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening and taking instruction.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work shoulder to shoulder and sharing equipment in tight quarters.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of experience in a Manufacturing Environment required.
  • Experience performing quality inspections
