Primary Function:

Responsible for performing production work in manufacturing.  Starts, operates, tends, stops, and cleans machines.  Inspects product to ensure high quality standards.  Must be self-motivated to operate as an individual that contributes to team success.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up and operate complex production line equipment per procedure.
  • Follow tight tolerance and detailed equipment set up procedures.
  • Work and follow policies of a cleanroom environment.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot basic machine errors and process non-conformities.
  • Report moderate and complex equipment faults to supervisor or engineers.
  • Report moderate and complex process non-conformities to technician or engineer.
  • Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks.
  • ·   Complete Screens and Forms, handling/Storage Labels, screen conditions, routings, design sheets, production form, etc.
  • ·       Lamination, temperature measurements, press set up time and pressure
  • ·       Ink Weight control.
  • ·       Screen Install, review materials required, assembly install, measure.
  • ·       Screen alignment, cutting pads, skew adjustment.
  • ·       Hazardous waste and reclaim.
  • ·       Fill out the documentation required

SKILLS:

  • Able to work on a cleanroom environment.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Working knowledge of basic arithmetic, negative numbers, decimals and fractions.
  • Able to read and understand technical reports, process specifications, and office correspondence. 
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and monitor multiple stations at one time.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma, AS Degree or equivalent required
  • 2 years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Willing and able to work with chemicals including industrial glue and acetone
  • Willing and able to lift up to 20 lbs. daily
  • Ability to stand the whole 8 hour shift.
