PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Lead the management of customer order fulfillment for multiple product lines.  Coordinate with production at multiple global facilities for the correct priority, schedule, and requirements of all orders.  Maximize production output by analyzing Production KPI’s, ensuring KAVX is meeting the customer’s delivery requirements.  Work with customer service when delays occur to achieve high customer satisfaction by utilizing all available inventory, offering product substitutions, and expediting products.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •          Review and book customer orders daily and appropriately schedule these orders taking into consideration customer’s requested ship dates, lead times, and production capacity.
  •          Communicate with Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Production on expedites and new requirements as needed.
  •          Work with distribution warehouses to ship product and prevent service issues with customers
  •          Review pull-in requests and adjust deliveries without impacting service on other orders.
  •          Identify order pull-ins to achieve monthly sales goals.
  •          Reroute, split, and/or transfer product and WIP as needed to maximize customer service, satisfy current/new orders, and utilize KAVX inventories including non-valued excess stores.
  •          Monitor WIP to ensure it is moving as required.  Contact the appropriate production manager to resolve product delays.
  •          Process and disposition returned material authorizations as needed; restock, scrap, or rework returned material.
  •          Cover and support other planners and schedulers as needed.
  •          Provide support and direction to customer service in terms of excess stores, materials, finished/unfinished parts and other substitute items to support fulfillment of orders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  •          Bachelor’s Degree. Business, Supply Chain, or related field is preferred.
  •          Minimum 2 years experience in planning, manufacturing, or inventory control using an ERP system.
  •          Must be able to use Excel formulas and queries to assist in performing various job functions.
  •          Strong communication skills - verbal, written, and email etiquette.
  •          Strong analytical and computer skills.
