Primary Function:

Responsible for sales & communications activities, working under the direction of the Area Sales Director. Manages communication activities, including content creation and management of trade shows. Supports the sales department with all sales activity, including administration, contract negotiations, qualifications tracking, formulation, generation of management tracking reports, and day-to-day action items.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing clear, convincing content that encourages audiences to engage with KYOCERA AVX and build the reputation as a leader in the electronic component market.
  • Coordination of Trade Shows / Events, including preparation/logistics, travel, setup, promotion, lead-retrieval, tear-down 
  • Working collaboratively with the product marketing groups and engineering teams to effectively promote the KYOCERA AVX  brand and products
  • Support the Outside Sales team, including processing orders, Sugar CRM management, contract processing, quote creation, etc
  • Collaborating with the European Tech Centers to gather the latest information on product offerings, etc
  • Monitoring of customer contract fulfilments e.g. yearly volume, sourcing agreements, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is required, in a Business, Marketing, Engineering field
  • Experience in a sales/marketing role
  • Strong interpersonal communication, leadership, and organizational skills with the ability to build relationships with key decision makers on all levels within an organization.
  • Aptitude to learn technical products and concepts
  • Highly motivated, innovative, organized, accurate, and detail-oriented with ability to coordinate program activities and manage multiple projects.
