Primary Function:

Responsible for performing production work in manufacturing. Starts, operates, tends, stops, and cleans machines. Assembles and packages finished product. Inspects product to ensure high quality standards. You would usually work as part of a team under the supervision of a shift leader.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ·       Operating CNC machinery and automated image processing equipment
  • ·       Conduct visual quality checks (microscopes)
  • ·       Perform physical part measurements
  • ·       Make sound decisions based on measured data
  • ·       Navigate SPC software, SAP, Excel, and other applicable programs
  • ·       Ability to competently complete all paperwork
  • ·       Effectively deliver verbal and written communication
  • ·       Maintaining strong attention to detail
  • ·       Other duties as assigned

SKILLS:

  • ·       Able to perform data entry and use Microsoft Office Excel and Word application. Experience with InfinityQS and InSpec Metrology software preferred.   
  • ·    Math skills:  Working knowledge of basic arithmetic, negative numbers, decimals and fractions.
  • ·    Verbal/communication:  Able to read, understand, and communicate information from  departmental reports, process specifications, and office correspondence. 
  • ·     Technical skills: basic level troubleshooting, use of software applications and Microsoft Windows.

REQUIREMENTS:

  •     High School diploma or equivalent required
  •    1 year of experience in a Manufacturing Environment required.
  •     CNC machining or detailed manufacturing experiencing preferred.
