Primary Function:

Unload the tractor trailer when needed. Sort and count outer boxes based on waybill numbers. Scan product from one location to another as well as physically move product from one location to another. Person must be able to use the computer systems to perform various tasks in the job including receipting to stock and checking system for accuracy as well as accessing and understanding several inquiry screens.

We are currently looking for a Receiver Operator on 2nd Shift (8 hours) for our Fountain Inn, SC location. 

Initial pay $16.06 per hour + $1 premium. 

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Remove product from boxes and store in shelves and bins in the carousels 
  • Receipt to stock all incoming product 
  • Identify errors and damages to product 
  • Follow scan verification procedures to account for inbound stock, to assign material to inventory locations, and to pull material allocated for outbound orders
  • Help distribute large orders as directed by the Router or Supervisor/Manager
  • Perform regular cycle counts of inventory locations to assure inventory accuracy

SKILLS:

  •   Computer skills: Able to perform simple data entry and use Microsoft Office
  • ·     Math skills:  Able to do basic counting without a calculator
  • ·  Verbal/communication:  Able to read and understand technical reports, process specifications, and office correspondence. 
  •   Be able to read and clearly see and read small numbers on the labels.
  •     Be able to comprehend a bill of lading and it terminology.
  • ·       Technical skills:  
  •     Person must be able to consistently lift 25 pounds and 35 pound as needed periodically.
  •     Forklift driving is a plus.  
  •     Must be quick and effective in selecting the correct product. 
  •    Must be physically able to go up and down the steps numerous times per day.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • ·       Education: High School diploma, or equivalent required
  • · Experience: 3 years’ work experience required. Warehouse experience is required.
